The 12th APEC Small and Medium Enterprises Technology Exchange and Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as APEC SMEs Technology Exhibition), co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the People's Government of Shandong Province, was held in Qingdao from 9 to 11 November. APEC SMEs Technology Exhibition, an important cooperation project carried out under the framework of APEC, is themed on ‘Green Development, Digital Empowerment, Integration and Innovation, Cooperation and Win-Win’. With the theme of ‘Green Development, Digital Empowerment, Integration and Innovation, Win-Win Cooperation’, it aims to promote technical exchanges and economic and trade cooperation among SMEs of APEC member economies, help SMEs integrate into the global value chain, and improve their sustainable development capability and international competitiveness.

As one of the important activities of APEC SME Technology Exhibition, SME Digital Transformation and Innovation Development Forum was hosted by China SME Development Promotion Centre, China Association for International Cooperation of Small and Medium Enterprises (CACISME), Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Informatisation, Qingdao Municipal People's Government, and co-organised by Beijing Mechanical Guochuang Lightweight Science Research Institute of China General Machinery Research Institute, and Longchamp Yunzhou, with more than 200 SMEs participating in the event. At the meeting, Song Zhigang, Deputy General Manager of Industrial Internet of Longchao Yunzhou, said that accelerating the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is an inevitable choice to achieve new industrialisation. Based on the ‘double span’ platform, Longchamp Yunzhou innovates the ‘industrial’ mode, strengthens the industrial digital infrastructure to support the development of SMEs, provides production intelligent services including public service platforms and large-scale technological transformation, and promotes the supply chain synergy of industrial clusters where SMEs are concentrated. In the Implementing Opinions on Accelerating the Standardised, Healthy and Sustainable Development of the Platform Economy issued by the People's Government of Shandong Province, the Industrial Internet is ranked among the top ten platform economy ecosystems. Zang Fayun, deputy secretary-general of Shandong Platform Economy Association, said in the roundtable forum that in order to guide and promote the majority of small and medium-sized enterprises to accelerate the digital transformation, it will rely on the Shandong Platform Economy Association to build the Shandong Platform Economy public service platform, build supply chain service platforms for each key industry, and empower the development and transformation and upgrading of industrial integration.

During the conference, Longchao Yunzhou appeared in the ‘brand enterprise’ exhibition area, focusing on displaying the empowerment of small and medium-sized enterprise digital transformation ‘on-site research, virtual simulation, insertion of pole hanging meter, machine replacement, equipment networking, deployment of all-in-one machine,’ agile technological transformation The ‘six-step method’, as well as digital products such as the calculation network application all-in-one machine, the pioneer all-in-one machine, industrial sensing equipment, industrial network equipment and other digital products.
