This year's conference has formed 113 speeches by industry leaders, enterprise executives and experts, and new product and technology demonstrations by 106 enterprises, attracting nearly 2,000 professional representatives from more than 500 organisations at home and abroad.

Fu Yuwu, Honorary Chairman of SAE China, delivered a speech for the conference, expressing his personal feelings about the 70th anniversary of China's automotive industry, and paying high respect to the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit of the older generation of automotive people. the growth and name change of TMC not only reflects the development trend of powertrain technology, but also reflects the development and growth of China's energy-saving and new energy technology over the past ten years or so. Nowadays, the ‘new four’ is bringing unprecedented challenges and opportunities to the global automotive industry, and the transformation and upgrading of the automotive powertrain is undoubtedly one of the keys. In his speech, Fu put forward a number of suggestions: the need to adhere to long-termism, development on inheritance; high-quality green development, respect for innovation, respect for the team, respect for talent; stability of the industrial chain, supply chain, to ensure industrial safety and high-quality development, but also to promote the industrial chain of bottleneck technology breakthroughs, and can not be blindly confident. The report focuses on the key technologies of automotive-grade power semiconductor chip design, module packaging and application, and the development of the core technology of electric drive system, and makes a comprehensive analysis and discussion. He said that due to China's vast territory and large market, pure electric vehicles are currently limited in many aspects, and plug-in hybrid vehicles have a lot of room for development before 2035 due to the cost, driving experience and no mileage anxiety; in terms of power battery innovation, it involves the structure, materials and manufacturing, which affect each other and have room for optimisation in the future, especially before the introduction of new materials, the structure and manufacturing process is the key driving force to improve battery technology.
